The Dick and Jane Art Company is the creative union of two artists, Peter Karas and Corinne Garlick.
  A graduate of Visual Arts from the University of Victoria, Peter's paintings capture the vibrant life of coastal villages, depicting houses, boats and local settings.
  Corinne graduated from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax. Her vivid oil and watercolour paintings portray groupings of diverse people, markets and street scenes.
  After meeting in Halifax, the two artists drove west in a rusty old van, painting and sketching as they went. Now living in Victoria, BC (Canada), they both work as full-time professional artists, depicting their surroundings with vibrant colours in simple, whimsical paintings.   
   Their paintings can be found in collections across Canada and the U.S., as well as countries throughout Europe, Asia and Africa.
